Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as hiring a COO? A COO is typically a full-time internal hire with a fixed scope, and a career in operations who generally has not held the top job in a firm. A Fractional Operating Partner is a flexible, embedded leader who provides executive-level ownership without restructuring your org chart.

What industries do you serve? We work across industries—because leadership, strategy, and operational clarity are industry-agnostic. Our Operating Partners bring a cross-sector perspective that accelerates innovation and helps clients avoid blind spots.

Do you also offer finance or HR leadership? We do not provide CFO or CHR leadership, though many of our Operating Partners have material experience in these areas. We work in collaboration with those functions, focusing instead on strategy execution, ops clarity, and leadership capacity.

How quickly can you start? We can typically onboard and integrate within 4–6 weeks of an initial call.

What title does the Operating Partner have internally? This is created with you during the Discovery Period, and depends on your current structure, operational needs and goals. We want to be able to hit the ground running, which means minimizing stress and politics with your current team. Some options include: Chief of Staff, President, Co-CEO, Strategy Officer. We will work with you to define what fits best for your culture.

Can you work on-site? Yes, based on client preference and geography.
